I’m Miranda — a linguist and educator who turns ideas into clear, well-made content across three languages. Native Spanish, an MA in Linguistics, and nearly two decades of teaching across three countries.

I grew up in Bogotá, studied Modern Languages there, and have spent my career moving between languages and the people who speak them — in Colombia, the United States, and now Germany.
After nearly two decades teaching learners across three countries, I’m bringing that pedagogical craft to work where the impact reaches past a single classroom: designing learning experiences, multilingual content, and communications for adult audiences and the missions they care about.
My MA in Linguistics (Universität zu Köln, 2025) took me back to Colombia for DAAD-funded fieldwork on the vitality of indigenous languages — a reminder of why precise, respectful language matters. I care about localization that honours register and nuance, not literal word-swapping, and about content that actually teaches.
A few roles that shaped how I work. The thread running through them: language, learning, and getting people understood across cultures.
